Hustle is Social Capital’s 3rd acquisition in the past three years. Palihapitiya declined to reveal the names of either financial investment, mentioning competitive advantages in keeping them out of the press for now. He states that investing out of a permanent balance sheet of his own capital lets him finance choices quicker than a conventional endeavor capital firm, which lines up with the financier’s general anti-VC belief.
