We talked to MuteSix CRO Greg Gillman to go over how the LA-based performance marketing firm bets on content and information to deal with its direct-to-consumer e-commerce clients. For firms that work with big brands, usually it’s more about impression purchasing versus performance buying. We have actually worked with lots of start-ups at different points in the funnel, beginning from the ground up and working with them through various rounds of financing, all the way through acquisitions, including two by unicorns. Because we work with so lots of brand names, we have a lot of senior leadership on each channel level. Every significant shift in our business was done to address the needs of the brand names that we were working with.
