Lawn startup Sunday raises millions to assist you with your yard

Motivation to launch a lawn-care company struck Coulter Lewis. The business owner, who formerly worked as a designer and co-founder of a treat company, states the smell of herbicides and pesticides piled high was too strong to disregard. Lewis began investigating much safer alternatives to fertilize his yard. […] His research showed him that he wasn’t alone: a common managed lawn in the United States gets five times more pesticides per acre than the average commercial farm. By using device learning, satellite images and home data, Sunday produces a custom strategy with nutrients to resolve issue areas, such as turf health in different bio-environmental scenarios. Sunday offers at a range of cost points, and is dependent on lawn size, but Lewis does declare it’s “much less expensive” than working with a professional to come and fertilize your lawn. Surprisingly, Sunday says that its clients skew younger, in between 30 and 40 years old, and concentrate in Middle America states (where lawns are more of a truth). The brand-new money will permit Sunday to grow its 40-person personnel with 30 brand-new hires….
