Sora’s HR automation software application raises $14M Series A
2 Sigma Ventures led the financing event, putting in $10 million, with prior financiers completing the round. It helps HR operations teams gather and sync data from various systems, develop standardized procedures for specific jobs, and help collaboration amongst the bigger people or HR group at a company. TechCrunch was curious if Sora might eventually become a center for staff members to connect with HR systems more broadly; if the startup is currently doing the work to link deeply to HR software application, why not conserve employees time by offering them with a single portal? The startup charges per staff member managed, with no limit on processes because Sora wants HR groups to build as many workflows inside of its service as they want.
