Mixlab raises $20M to supply purrfect drug store experience for animal parents
Animal pharmacy Mixlab has established a digital platform allowing veterinarians to recommend medications and have them provided– often on the very same day– to pet parents. “The pharmacy industry is changing a lot, and technology permits us to customize the care and experience for the veterinarian, animal moms and dad and the pet,” Kim said. Mixlab’s innovation includes a digital service for veterinarians to streamline their everyday medication workflow and provides them back time to spend with patient care. On the family pet parent side, they no longer have to wait up to a week for medications nor have to drive over to the clinic to choose them up. As part of the financial investment, Keith Levy, running partner at Sonoma Brands and former president of family pet food manufacturer Royal Canin U.S.A., will sign up with Mixlab’s board of directors. …
