Riverside.fm releases its video podcasting platform

Riverside.fm is a brand-new start-up with an easy-to-use platform for taping professional-quality video podcasts. Although the company only recently came out of stealth, it already has a number of high-profile clients, including TechCrunch’s parent company (Verizon Media) and Hillary Clinton, who’s using Riverside.fm to tape-record her new podcast “You and Me Both with [ …] Gideon provided me a fast demo of the platform, revealing me that it’s a fairly straightforward recording experience– the host simply shares a link with the guests, no software application installation essential. For one thing, each individuals’ audio and video is recorded as a separate track on their gadget, so that a bad web connection will not impact taping quality. Despite its simplicity, Riverside.fm supports 4K video and uncompressed WAV audio.
