The planet-loving folks at the Sustainable Ocean Alliance started an accelerator a couple years back concentrating on really early-stage business, but this year they’re expanding the program to accept those that have currently closed their first round. The mix of experimental and (relatively) tested techniques may help diversify the accelerator’s growing network.
“Last year, amidst the start of an international pandemic and installing seriousness associated to fixing the ocean’s biggest challenges, we received unprecedented need for the Ocean Solutions Accelerator,” stated the accelerator’s co-founder, Craig Dudenhoeffer. “It became clear to us that now more than ever, ocean tech start-ups require effective community access, assistance and mentorship to those special chances that genuinely move their businesses. We chose to double our efforts and run 2 accelerator associates in 2021 in order to support 21 incredible innovators.”
In 2015’s accomplice consisted of business producing robotic fish, kelp-based foods, artificial reefs, aquaculture animal feed and other fascinating and potentially advancement items. But something they all have in common with each other and those from previous years is they are almost all really early phase.
